The Chosen Few...

 To the chosen few who keep up with us...I hope everyone's spring has been well! Just when winter seemed like it would never end (not like we wanted it to) the sun has finally decided to shine! As the summer approaches we continue to forge new ground on our upcoming album. As we stand now, there are about 9 songs in the works. By mid-summer we plan on demoing all completed material for possible label consideration and hope to enter the studio by September (fingers-crossed of course!).

For those of you who are familiar with our sound, expect nothing less then the best Stonecreep album we have ever commited to tape! Of course in true Stonecreep fashion, we'll throw you a few curve balls to keep you on your toes! Inspiration has been taken from a few unlikely sources; Bathory, Dissection, and Immortal! All the while remaining true to our roots; Maiden, Opeth, Skids, and Machine Head! Let's just say things are starting to get a little more METAL around the Stonecreep fire!

On the shows front, we'll be playing the WOW Hall in Eugene, OR on Saturday, July 17th with our good friends Only Nightmares, Necryptic, Ditch Digger and Omnihility! With only a handful of shows until we release the new album, this show is not to be missed! Not to mention it's been almost a year since we played Eugene so get your asses out and support some Fucking Metal!

PERMAFROST THIS FRIDAY!!

 Just a quick reminder...PERMAFROST OVER PORTLAND will be taking place this FRIDAY, APRIL 16th at The Satyricon in Portland, OR! The show starts at 8pm with Excruciator kicking things off in pure metal style! LA's blackend thrashers Witchaven and the Bay Area's own Hatchet will follow with (yours truely) Stonecreep rounding out the night!

This is an all ages event with a bar connected next door for the 21 and over crowd. 

Also, Thank You to Brian "The Lonewolf" Bennett and 101FM KUFO for the support on last weekends Metalopolis show! Tune in each Saturday 10 - Midnight for the best Metal you will EVER hear on the radio!

 Stonecreep - The Deathmarch Crushes On
Independent - 2009

"Having been a substantial fan of a gift EP entitled We Bleed Disaster, I was practically drooling at the arrival of Stonecreep’s latest effort, The Death March Crushes On. Will it live up to the ridiculously high expectations I set up for it? Only the next few lines of mediocre reviewing will tell…

The Deathmarch Crushes On is the second full-length album from this Portland, Oregon based act and does everything it can to make you forget about everything else in their catalog! Heavy, frantic riffs are scattered about TDCO in equal parts awesome and badass, while the blasty drum work speed along at about a billion light-leagues per second! Vocally, Matt Litton jumps from half-clean singing, to gravelly growling, to deathly bellows, all within the same tune. You’d think that that would be a little much, but no. It’s not. I promise you, it’s just right!
Overall: Living up to my expectations, The Deathmarch Crushes On is a exercise is speed, melody and neck-wreckature! A classic entry for fans of old school heavy metal or anything that will annoy the piss out of your neighbors at three o’clock in the morning."

STONECREEP is very proud to announce PERMAFROST OVER PORTLAND 2010! Not only is this Stonecreep's first show in 2010, it is also their first show since completing their fall tour in Oct 2009. On hand for this special event will be Metal Blade Recording Artists HATCHET, L.A. Blackend-Thrashers WITCHAVEN, and fellow Portland Bangers EXCRUCIATOR!

The madness will descend on Friday, April 16th, 8pm at Portland's famed Club Satyricon! This is an all-ages show, with a bar connected next door for the 21-and-over crowd! The door cover will be $8.

By bringing together four of metal's most promising young acts, this is an event that is not to be missed! Raise a beer, a shot, and a fist and worship at the throne of Metal!
